This notice is to confirm that at this time I have put clinical practice on hold and am not seeing patients.
Due to COVID-19, clinic safety measures, and the increasing demands of insurance administration, opening this practice requires more resources and staff than anticipated.
I am currently working out of town on assignment and do not have current plans to practice in Ainsworth.
The practice will be on hold at least until the end of the year at which time I will re-evaluate whether to offer clinic services at my office.
Alternative local providers include Devine Healthcare and the Ainsworth Family Clinic. There are primary care medical services close by in Bassett, Valentine, and at Avera St. Anthony in O’Neill.
COVID-19 INFORMATION:
In today's big-box medical clinics, physicians are directed to practice 5-minute medicine. Over time, the healing bond between a physician and a patient erodes. We are left with unanswered questions and neglected illnesses. Physicians are often too quick to write prescriptions and too slow to listen to their patients and learn about their lifestyles, needs, wants, hopes, fears, and dreams. Here at Good Medicine, we believe in Five Pillars of Health - Psychosocial Balance, Sufficient Sleep, Adequate Hydration, Time for Play, and Good Nutrition. These things are intrinsic to our good health and our wellbeing.
Welcome to Good Medicine! We are honored to have the privilege and trust to care for your medical needs. We provide scheduled appointment care primarily for maintaining chronic conditions, consulting on treatment plans, second opinions, and minor acute issues. There is no additional staff, and we take our time with each case, so if you are in a hurry, please call in advance. Please allow at least an hour for a visit with us.
On a first visit, please expect to spend some extra time with us, as it is important to document your medical history, surgical history, social history, and medications, so that we can provide you with appropriate care for your first visit and visits going forward. Please be sure to bring your Driver's License or other form of identification as well as any insurance cards, including Medicare.
When you come to see us: Always bring in a bog or box with all of your prescription and over-the-counter medication and supplements for each visit. This is very important so that we are sure that we give you the best care.
With years of experience, we will assess you and create a custom recovery plan that's right for you. We understand the importance of educating you on the most effective ways to take care of your body, so that you can heal quickly or manage your chronic medical conditions.
Not only will we treat your existing conditions, we also work to prevent pain and illness from occurring. We strive to help you improve your quality of life, achieve your wellness goals, and heal your body to live your best life possible.
